Personal Skating Experience
Skate Canada Triple Gold Medalist in Ice Dance, Skills, Singles Interpretive and Senior Bronze Free Skate. Working on USFS International Dances, Senior Moves in The Field, Senior Solo Free Dance and Skate Canada Diamond Dances. Former Skate Canada Sectional Juvenile Dance Pair competitor. Trained extensively in various styles of ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and contemporary dance. Competed nationally as a Tap Soloist and auditioned for/danced in various Ballets with Canada's Ballet Jorgen and other Ballet Companies.
Coaching Experience
Started as a Program Assistant with Skate Canada’s CanSkate in 2008 and later became an Instructor. Became a Learn To Skate USA Instructor in 2020. Enjoys helping transition skaters of all ages/levels from Learn To Skate to the Onyx-Suburban Skating Academy.
Accreditations and Education
USFS & PSA. SafeSport Compliant. Grade 4 Ballet (Royal Academy of Dance), Grade 4 Ballet (Cecchetti), Premier in Tap & Blue Ribband in Jazz (British Association of Teachers of Dance).
